He was her knight in aluminum armor
Guiding the way with his iPod torch
Both in shambles and broken
But neither really knew

She was a damsel, always in distress
Her knight was there whenever she called
In the middle of a storm or in the middle of the night

What a fairy-tale life they had
a princess and her knight
always depending on each other
when the other needed them most.
